About Bart Walton

I currently live in Oregon and Hawaii, where I work as a licensed acupuncturist and shiatsu practitioner. In 1970, I learned Transcendental Meditation and from 1974-75, I attended advanced meditation courses in Europe. During this time, I had the good fortune to be with Maharishi almost on a daily basis.

In 1995, I became interested to find out more about Maharishi's master, Guru Dev. I was disappointed to find very little information readily available. And most of what was available, was not well organized or written. For my own benefit, I decided to gather and organize information from various sources and to write short biographies of Guru Dev and Maharishi. To a large extent, this web site is the result of that effort.
